CANCELLING CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS

We love that you are your Customers' voice, but we want to ensure that you are always communicating information to your Customers. We are frequently contacted by Social Marketers requesting to cancel an existing inactive Customer account. As the account belongs to the Customer any changes to that account should only be done with their consent. We need to make sure that your Customer has requested any changes that are made, they are keen to become a Social Marketer, and they are aware of your request to us. If we find that this is not the case, the situation will be investigated.

So when you are talking to your Customers, please ensure that you are clear with what you are proposing and you have their permission to close their account.
